Trainee Programme Continuous learning, looking behind the scenes, moving on from success to success
The Group Trainee Programme provides young job starters with tourism or commercial qualifications with an interesting means of joining the TUI AG career ladder. The programme has an international structure and provides interested job starters from all over Europe with an opportunity to gain an insight into all sides of the tourism world of work.
This Trainee Programme is an eighteen-month tour of the exciting worlds of work within Group companies. The objective is to gain a wide-ranging overview of the tourism business as a whole. The structure reflects the tourism value chain. Each step of the training programme lasts around three to four months. Trainees tackle challenges at each stage without losing their enjoyment of working. Everyone within the programme gains a great deal of experience – throughout Europe.
Project work and day-to-day routines form the foundation for the first management responsibilities. And everyone joins in with real work from the first day onwards. An assignment directly in one of the destinations – in other words where our customers go on holiday – is a must for every trainee. Trainees are used here as tour guides to give them direct contact with the customers.
In the Group Trainee Programme, importance is also placed on gaining additional qualifications. During this phase of your professional career we focus on the development of your personality. After having gained your first vocational experience within the TUI Group, we offer an assessment of your potential. The results will be a new basis for further individual development.
