TUI EcoResort
The Group internal "EcoResort" seal of quality has been created jointly by TUI Hotels & Resorts and TUI AG Environmental Management. It honours those hotels and clubs in the TUI Hotels & Resorts portfolio that fulfil the basic criteria which have been established.
The environmental management systems of the EcoResorts are audited by independent, accredited specialists and certified in accordance with a recognised national or international environmental standard, such as ISO 14001.
TUI Umwelt Champion
Every year, questionnaires filled out by holidaymakers for TUI Deutschland together with measurable environmental performance are used to ascertain the most environmentally-friendly hotels worldwide from our customers' point of view. The winners are awarded the TUI Environment Champion prize.
International TUI Environment Award
The World of TUI has supported model international environmental, landscape and nature protection activities since 1991 as part of our strategic corporate policy for protecting the environment, conserving nature and sustainable development. Funding is aimed at helping local and regional efforts, finding long-term solutions and identifying new strategies which support sustainable tourism development in holiday destinations.
The award stimulates and motivates the winners to push ahead with their sustainable development activities and to build up and expand closer partnerships with the tourism industry. We also honour and support the active involvement of our prize winners with funding currently totalling Euro 10,000.
