Successful sustainability management requires a fundamental understanding of the key interaction between ecological and social systems. We build on this to continually improve our environmental and sustainability performance at our sites and destinations.
We actively seek dialogue to ensure a balance between internal and external perspectives.
To this end, a stakeholder survey was conducted in 2009. It covered sustainability factors of relevance to TUI and TUI’s perceived commitment to those factors. The outcome of the survey helped identify additional potential for sustainable action.
The following questions had to be answered for each factor:
- What is the relevance of the following factors to TUI?
- To what extent are these factors already addressed by TUI?
These questions had to be answered by ticking numbers from 1 (low) to 5 (high) based on the Likert Scale.
Respondents were also free to add their own comments.
