A great day draws to a close
In cooperation with the Kindergarten Infantário Pimpão in Tavira and with the support of the TUI Portugal employee Eduarda Nascimento, a three-day event on the Year of the Dolphin was held from 13 to 15 May 2008. Some 25 children aged 4 and 5 took part in the event.
During the activities the children drew a great many pictures of dolphins, prepared a huge dolphin protection board and the entire TUI Dolphin Manual – the official brochure of the campaign – was worked through.
Information in a form just right for the children, given by the teachers Ms Gena and Ms Nascimento, was ever present throughout the three days.
At the end of the day each of the children was given a dolphin protector certificate with a sticker and an inflatable dolphin.
The children were really enthusiastic and want to protect dolphins in the future.
