In cooperation with the primary school Escola Básica 1 Bias do Norte Olhão in Fuseta and with the support of the TUI Portugal employee Filomena De, another event was held on 26 May 2008 focussing on the Year of the Dolphin. Some 58 children aged between 8 and 9 years were informed of the way of life of dolphins and how this is being threatened.
 
During the activities the entire TUI Dolphin Manual – the official brochure of the campaign – was worked through and the children busied themselves with drawing dolphin pictures. Two teachers accompanied the two classes throughout the day giving information in a form just right for the children.
 
Each of the children was given a dolphin protector certificate with a sticker and an inflatable dolphin.
 
At the end of the informative day the two teachers expressed their intention of incorporating this event firmly in the curriculum of the Escola Básica.
