Trainee Social Day Excursion to the dolphinarium at Heidepark Soltau
Arrival at the Heidepark Soltau
Social engagement within the Year of the dolphin. Three TUI AG trainees Annika Lignell, Heike Engelbrecht and Dominik Müller, organised an excursion to Heidepark Soltau as part of their trainee programme.
On 23 May 2007, 15 children aged from 8 to 10 from the Caritas Children and Youth Centre St. Joseph in Hanover submerged into the world of dolphins and other marine mammels.
Starting on the bus ride they were shown documentary films to inform them about dolphins and their habitants and they even took part in a dolphin quiz.
The highlight of the excursion was the visit to the dolphinarium. By visiting the show the children were confronted with the conditions in which dolphins live.
