TUI under the microscope BAUM e.V. research investigating climate protection policy of DAX-30 companies

BAUM e. V. (Bundesdeutscher Arbeitskreis für Umweltbewusstes Management - Federal German Work Group for Environmentally Responsible Management) investigated the climate protection policy of DAX-30 companies on behalf of the "Wirtschaftswoche" financial magazine. The focus of this March 2007 survey was what companies were doing right now on climate protection, and their plans for the future.

Various components were evaluated. These included annual and environmental reports, an analysis carried out by three senior institutes which carry out sustainability ratings for the financial sector, and a questionnaire results, and came in number 2 in the ranking on this aspect. Overall, TUI scored 2.6 to make it the number 8 DAX-30 company.
