Curriculum vitae Horst Baier
Member of the TUI AG executive board responsible for the Controlling division
Horst Baier was born in Hanover on 20 October 1956 and completed his education at the Leibniz-Akademie Hanover and at Continental AG with a degree in business administration.
In 1979 he started his professional career as manager in the Finance department of Continental AG. Inter alia, further stages brought him as assistant treasurer to General Tyre Inc., USA as well as to the Schickedanz Group, Germany, where he was responsible for the Finance department.
Baier joined the TUI Group GmbH in 1996 as head of Finance and Accounting. In 2001 he was promoted managing director in Finance and Administration of TUI Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH. Subsequently, he became head of Accounting and Reporting of TUI AG.
With effect from 8 November 2007, Horst Baier was appointed a member of the TUI AG executive board taking over responsibility for the Controlling division.
