Curriculum vitae Rainer Feuerhake

Rainer Feuerhake, born on 2 March 1944 in Northeim, studied in Göttingen, Germany, where he graduated with a degree in business administration.
He joined the Preussag Group in 1968, where he started work in the Auditing department. Subsequently he moved to Kavernen Bau- und Betriebs-GmbH, Hanover, a Group company in which Preussag held a 50% holding. There he mainly worked for their US subsidiary KBB Inc in New York and New Orleans.
In 1980, Feuerhake took charge of Group Accounting at Preussag AG and in 1986 he was given full power of attorney.
On 1 November 1988, Feuerhake was appointed a member of the Preussag AG executive board. As a board member he took over as head of the Finance division. In this position Feuerhake is responsible for the departments of Accounting & Reporting, Finance, Investor Relations, Tax Affairs, Mergers & Acquisitions, Destination-management and Shared Service Center.
Following a resolution passed at the Annual General Meeting, Preussag AG was renamed TUI AG on 01 July 2002.
On 3 September 2007 Feuerhake was appointed Non-executive Director of TUI Travel PLC.
