YoD on Ischia Delphis mdc information meeting in cooperation with TUI

On 10 May 2007 a Year of the Dolphin event took place on Ischia.
The one-day event was organised by Katja Massaro, the president of the dolphin-conservation association Delphis mdc.
In the morning workshops and lectures for schoolchildren were held, and in the afternoon there were presentations for adults. The participants were sensitized for the need of conservation of the marine mammals, such as dolphins in the Mediterranean.
TUI’s representative Gaby Bechtel, head of the destination, attended the event. TUI plans to distribute the dolphin manual on Ischia within the next few months.
