TUI closes sale of domestic energy business to Gaz de France

TUI AG closed the sale of Preussag Energie´s domestic business, Lingen, to Gaz de France Group. The shares in Preussag Energie were transferred at a price of about one billion Euro.
All the conditions of the contract concluded between TUI and Gaz de France in December 2002 have now been fulfilled. As agreed, the effective date for the transfer of shares is 1 January 2003. TUI AG´s supervisory board approved the deal back in January.
