Hapag-Lloyd achieved a general agreement with the Kühne & Nagel Group (K&N) on the sale of Pracht Spedition + Logistik GmbH, Haiger, to K&N. The transaction will be effective 1st January 2004. It is subject to approval by several boards and the cartel authorities. The parties agreed to not disclose the price of the transaction.
Pracht is active in the LCL business and in contract logistics and employs nearly 900 people. In the 2002 financial year, turnover was euro 190 million and operational profit (EBTA) was about euro 3 million.
