The capital increase of TUI AG has successfully been completed. The new TUI shares offered in a rights issue have met substantial investor demand. About 99.5 percent of the subscription rights were exercised. TUI AG offered the subscription of 71,502,616 new shares at a subscription price of € 14.20 to its shareholders. Two new shares could be subscribed for each five existing shares. The subscription period for the new TUI shares started on 2 September and ended on 15 September.
TUI AG will receive proceeds from the issue amounting to approx. € 1.0 billion. Following the capital increase, the subscribed capital of TUI AG is € 639,777,370.74, split into 250,259,155 no-par value shares.
