TUI signs letter of intent for sale of stake in Ibbenbüren power station

TUI AG signed a letter of intent today with RWE Power on the sale of its 24 per cent stake in the Ibbenbüren coal power station. RWE Power, which already holds a 76 per cent stake, exercised its pre-emption rights to acquire the remaining 24 per cent.
The acquisition is subject to the consent of Ruhrkohle AG. The takeover is planned to take place before the end of the year. The parties agreed to keep the price confidential.
