What you will be doing

  • Analyze the origin of the data and develop a logical data model, convert the data model into a physical design as well as conceptualize, design, and implement ETL processes for data integration in data warehouses
  • Optimize and develop Data Warehouse with regard to architecture, data organization and performance as well as select relevant data in close cooperation with business analysts & other IT partners
  • Extract, validate and analyze large, (un)structured data sets using suitable methods (e.g. ETL, EAI, Hadoop)
  • Program with Data Warehouse and Big Data Tools like Informatica, TIBCO, Hadoop etc..
  • Document and transfer knowledge as well as monitor system processes, interfaces and procedures
  • Lead and manage IT projects

What we are looking for

  • You have a university degree in computer science, business informatics, mathematics or comparable practical knowledge and experience
  • You have already gained practical experience in the operation of a data warehouse and knowledge of classic DWH / BI concepts
  • You know a lot about databases and programming, e.g. Hadoop MapReduce, Java, SQL
  • Ideally, you already have experience in agile software development / agile project management (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
  • Your German and English skills are fluent (spoken and written)
  • Very good organisational and problem-solving skills as well as a pronounced awareness of quality are your distinguishing features
  • You have a pronounced ability to think analytically combined with the ability to work conceptually
  • You are communicative and a motivated personality with a pronounced team spirit
  • You organize yourself, are goal-oriented and have an innovative way of thinking and working
  • You lead and manage IT projects
