What you will be doing

Our newly assembled team, consisting of a product owner and seven process and system engineers, is responsible for the booking system and the price control application for our German and English colleagues. We support the continuous optimisation of the systems with the help of new technologies and thus prepare the way for these systems into the cloud. This is what you will be doing as a DevOps Engineer (m/f/d):
  • Operationally support the systems (monitoring, tickets/changes)
  • Develop code to automate the infrastructure (IaaS) on the basis of Terraform or Cloudformation
  • Support and consult our business partners for new requirements
  • Interface between software development and IT infrastructure
  • Discuss recommendations for future standards and experiment with new innovative technologies
  • Responsible for complete solutions, which also lie outside the company's own focus areas

What we are looking for

  • University degree or apprenticeship in information technology, business informatics, economics, business administration or a comparable qualification
  • Work experience in the cloud, preferably in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Experience with databases
  • Very good German and English skills (spoken and written)
Desirable:
  • Experience with programming languages
  • Experience with modern working methods such as DevOps, Agile Development, CI/CD etc.
