What you will be doing

As a team leader (m/f/d) for our Internal Flights Platforms, you will be responsible for our purchasing, inventory, control and fulfilment systems for the flight services purchased from the tour operator of the TUI Central Region. In concrete terms, this is what you will be doing:

  • Responsible for the operational performance of all systems used and smooth functionality of the system interfaces
  • Elaborate and further develop a strategic product roadmap for the Internal Flights Platforms area in order to eliminate procedural and system-side weaknesses
  • Actively cooperate with and consult relevant business partners (e.g. trading / pricing, airline), other IT departments and service providers
  • Further develop an innovative product portfolio in the sense of agile working methods
  • Manage and develop subordinate team members as well as manage external developers (m/f/d)
  • Responsible for budget, including planning of investment requirements and budget control
  • Responsible for the quality / expressiveness of processed data as well as prepare regular reporting and derivation of optimization potentials
  • Select and negotiate with national and international system suppliers on IT solutions used

What we are looking for

  • University degree in business informatics or economics with technical specialisation; alternatively a comparable qualification
  • Relevant professional experience in the technical, ideally also disciplinary, leadership of teams, preferably in the flight context
  • Experience in (IT) project management, preferably in an international context
  • Very good understanding of system processes, system contexts and system interfaces
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Very good English skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
