Promoting diversity

As an international tourism company, we come into contact with a wide variety of people and cultures every day. This diversity is also reflected in our workforce. With various campaigns – based on interculturality, open dialogue and social involvement – we give our employees the opportunity to interact, to see things from a new perspective and to expand their horizons.

Diversity Charter

The “Diversity Charter” is a fundamental commitment to fairness and respect for people in our company. In signing the Charter in May 2008, TUI AG committed to creating a working environment free from prejudice and exclusion. Over 1,100 companies have since pledged their support for this initiative promoting tolerance and fairness in corporate culture.
 
Total E-Quality TUI

Equal opportunities award

In 2014, the Total E-Quality Germany initiative presented TUI AG with the Total E-Quality award. This distinction is given to companies, associations and organisations whose personnel policies clearly promote equal opportunities over the long term. In explaining its decisions, the jury had particular praise for the tourism group’s family-friendly policies, including the large number of individual and flexible working time models.
